The forum took place on June 22-24 at the Parkovy Exhibition Center and brought together those who are not indifferent to the development of sports and a healthy lifestyle in Ukraine.
As part of the three-day event, the foundation presented the social campaign “Stop, discrimination. Everyone has the right to sports ”, developed in partnership with the All-Ukrainian Center for Physical Health“ Sports for All ”.
During the first day of the forum, the children-wards of the program “Yes, I can!”, took part in sports games on the floors of floorball and petanque. The President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky also joined the activities.
Within the framework of the “Conscious Ukraine” bloc, to which the second day of the Forum was dedicated, the experience of the foundation on inclusion and barrier-free sports was shared in detail by the official representative of the foundation in Ukraine Vadym Misyura.
“We need to join forces around barrier-free sports. The President and his team have already taken an important step in this direction. It is now necessary to take appropriate action against the community and responsible business. Only in synergy is it possible to make truly significant changes in society. “
Vadym Yaroslavovych also stressed that the concept of barrier-freeness applies not only to problems due to disability, race, or gender.
“Barrier-free is free access of all citizens to sports. And this program of the President is largely about this: the health of the nation is impossible without the proper role of sport in the life of each of us. “
According to the president of the foundation Kateryna Biloruska, this integration is a continuation of the global goal to unite business, the public sector, and government to improve the lives of society.
