ISC International Sports Convention in London annually gathers speakers from all over Europe. This year, on March 22-23, at ISC event held at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, Kateryna Biloruska Foundation became the first charitable organization from Ukraine to deliver a speech.
Anzhela Fokina, СOO of the Foundation, joined a panel discussion (round table) “Sustainable Development Goals and Sport” together with well-known European foundations, such as Cymru Football Foundation, Silverfish CSR and Saints Foundation. International charitable foundation PMF was a partner of ISC.
Together with representatives of charitable organizations and businesses, we discussed sports initiatives and projects, their impact on the goals of sustainable development and positive global changes. Speakers shared their insights about development of social initiatives in sports, today’s challenges and social charity programs enabling inclusiveness and accessibility of sports services. Angela Fokina spoke about activities of the Kateryna Biloruska Foundation and the best cases operating in Ukraine and Cyprus. Goals of sustainable development, which are the priorities at Foundation’s projects, became another topical subject. Discussion of sports during war invited a lot of questions among the participants, as well as the way the Foundation supported the country in 2022 and continues these activities at present time.
“This is a significant event in sports and social sports initiatives. For us it is an extraordinary opportunity to share with the international community our experience in sports charity programs and projects. Our mission remains unchanged, it is to improve the health and well-being of the population, providing children with equal rights and access to sports and innovative education,” said Angela Fokina, COO of the Foundation.

Together with them, Kateryna Biloruska Foundation presented its activities aimed at helping children and providing inclusive access to sports, even in wartime.
