In September 2020, the Foundation launched and held a free online conference "Innovations in Physical Education" in partnership with the Institute for Modernization of Educational Content.
The Foundation organized an online conference to gather experts and through live discussions learn how to make physical education lessons interesting, useful, and most importantly – relevant for every child.
The goal is to change students' attitudes toward physical education lessons by inspiring teachers to learn new methods and modern teaching formats.
More than a generation of Ukrainian schoolchildren has become accustomed to perceiving physical education lessons as something unimportant and even superfluous.
Why did this happen? The reasons are different: outdated approaches to teaching, insufficient motivation of children and lack of proper equipment of gyms. And if the latter factor can not always be influenced by teachers, then the first two points are quite real to correct.
