On October 17, the Catholic University  brought together young women leaders, alumnae, and participants of the FEM (Future Empowered Minds) program by the Kateryna Biloruska Foundation for an offline gathering — FEM Community Meetup. The event focused on developing female leadership, discovering inner strength, building a professional network, and exploring how to take the first career steps without prior experience.

The meetup began with an informal welcome coffee and opening remarks from the FEM team. The key highlight of the morning program was the panel discussion: “First Step Without Experience: How to Take Responsibility?”
The discussion featured representatives of the Student Government. The speakers shared their personal experiences in student self-government, overcoming the fear of making mistakes, balancing studies with work projects, and remaining proactive. Following the panel, participants engaged in a Q&A session and an interactive speed-dating networking module to make new connections.
After a networking lunch at the UCU Refectory and a campus tour guided by the Admissions Center, attendees proceeded to the practical module titled “A Leader’s Character as a Support System”. Through practical cases and interactive exercises, the participants explored core leadership values, decision-making ethics, and building personal resilience.
The day concluded with a wrap-up session, contact exchange, and a group photo session. The event once again highlighted the core principle of the community: “Girls lead. Girls connect. Girls create change.”
