Week by week, the local para kayaking community continues to expand in Limassol. Organized in close collaboration with the Kyrenia Nautical Club, these free sessions provide a welcoming space for participants to engage in sports, strengthen self-confidence, and experience the freedom of being on the water.
Each meeting serves as a valuable opportunity for participants to acquire new physical skills, build meaningful social connections, and realize how steady progress leads to greater independence.
The initiative remains fully open to individuals with disabilities, welcoming both first-time participants and returning paddlers seeking an active community.

“Creating inclusive spaces where sport becomes accessible to everyone lies at the heart of our mission,” shared Kateryna Biloruska . “Watching this para kayaking community grow every week demonstrates the power of adaptative sports in building confidence and fostering true social integration.”
The Foundation and its partners remain committed to removing barriers and expanding adaptive sports initiatives across the region.
