On May 4, the first open training session for 23 children from social institutions in honor of the opening of a new sports section within the program of the Sports Mentor Foundation took place at the football stadium of School No. 36 in Minsk.
UNI kids football school acted as a partner of the event.
2 coaches introduced the young players to the basic elements of the game and told them about the important rules of behavior on the field.
Twice a week during the year, boys and girls – students of the orphanage №5, as well as the social and pedagogical educational institution “Children’s town of Leninskiy district of Minsk”, will play football with the coaches of the school UNI kids.
The Foundation undertook the purchase of all necessary equipment – balls, cones, barriers, etc., and UNI kids organized a training field, conducted the methodological part of the work, and participated in the search and selection of children who want to be involved in the section.
In the first training, children received not only positive emotions, the opportunity to communicate with peers and mentors, but also memorable gifts.
