On September 10, an open football training session was held at the Arena sports complex as part of the Yes, I Can program.
Legendary Ukrainian football player Oleksandr Shovkovsky conducted a football and goalkeeping master class for young students of the project with Down syndrome, autism, and cerebral palsy. According to him, every person who has achieved something must give a piece of their knowledge, their love in order for the younger generation to receive a boost that will give tangible results in the future.
“The mission of the Parimatch Foundation is very close to me – to develop children through sports. This is the second initiative of the foundation in which I participate. Last year I joined the Coach G1 project, and now I am happy to support the Yes, I Can program. Grateful for this opportunity! I see that the foundation works not only with children, but also with physical education teachers. It is very important. I am confident that our cooperation will bring benefits and satisfaction, “said Oleksandr Shovkovsky.
Open training was the beginning of the new season 2021-2022 for children with disabilities who regularly play football. The project was supported by the Podilsky District State Administration of Kyiv and Deputy Mayor of Kyiv Valentyn Mondryivsky.
