The heart of Limassol has been transformed into a gallery of courage and resilience with the official opening of the “Yes, I Can” photo exhibition at the Molos seafront. This large-scale national social campaign, initiated by the Kateryna Biloruska Foundation with the strategic support of the Cyprus National Paralympic Committee (CNPC), celebrates the extraordinary achievements of 15 Cypriot para-athletes.
Following a successful debut at Larnaka Airport, the exhibition has moved to Limassol to bring stories of strength, diversity, and inclusion directly to the local community. The opening ceremony was attended by the Mayor of Limassol, government officials, and the athletes themselves, who stood alongside their larger-than-life portraits and coaches – our dedicated sporting partners.
During the event, guests and athletes had the opportunity to play inclusive basketball together, providing a powerful demonstration of barrier-free communication and the uniting power of sport.

This edition of the exhibition was made possible through a vital partnership with the Municipality of Limassol.
Yiannis Armeftis, Mayor of Limassol, stated:
“The stories presented here remind us that sport is not only about competition, but also about courage, determination and the power to overcome barriers. Hosting the ‘Yes, I Can’ exhibition at the Molos area is a meaningful initiative for our city. It is not only an exhibition of powerful photography, but also a reminder of the importance of building a truly accessible and inclusive city for everyone. We are proud that Limassol can host and support such an important initiative”.
The campaign features 15 heroes from various disciplines, including para-swimming, archery, athletics, and wheelchair tennis . By showcasing these athletes in one of the city’s most popular public spaces, the organizers aim to challenge societal perceptions of disability and promote sport as a powerful tool for social change.
Kateryna Biloruska, Founder of the Kateryna Biloruska Foundation, commented:
“Yes, I Can is not just a slogan; it is a statement of courage and a reminder that every challenge can be turned into an opportunity. Through these portraits, we celebrate the human dignity and the universal language of sport. We want every person, regardless of their challenges, to look at these stories and say with confidence: Yes, I can”.
Andreas Georgiou, President of the Cyprus National Paralympic Committee, added:
“This partnership with the Kateryna Biloruska Foundation allows us to showcase the human side of professional para-sports—the grit, the sweat, and the triumph. Bringing this exhibition to Limassol helps break down social barriers and invites every citizen to celebrate the strength of the Cypriot Paralympic spirit.”
The stunning visual storytelling was captured by creative producers Michalis Antoniou and Giorgos Charalambous, whose work highlights the aesthetic of strength and the emotion behind each athlete’s journey.
The exhibition is now open to the public at the Limassol Molos area. Visitors are encouraged to engage with the stories, share their favorite portraits on social media using the hashtag #YesICan, and join the movement toward a more inclusive Cyprus.
