The Kateryna Biloruska Foundation is proud to be as the Charity Partner of the 3rd annual Blackened Goggles Challenge, taking place on October 12 in Limassol.
This unique event was founded by Karolina Pelendritou, multiple Paralympic champion, world record holder, and “Princess of the Pool”, with the aim of raising awareness of the daily challenges faced by people with visual impairments. By swimming with blackened goggles, participants are invited to experience – even for a moment – the world “through her eyes.”
As part of our support, the Kateryna Biloruska Foundation gave children under 15 the opportunity to participate in the event free of charge and receive special goodie bags. Their energy and smiles made this day even more special.
Kateryna Biloruska, President of the KB Foundation, attended the event in person and prepared a special gift for Karolina Pelendritou.
“For our Foundation, being part of this initiative is a natural continuation of our mission: equal opportunities that spark social impact. We believe that sport has the power to unite, inspire, and open new opportunities for every person, regardless of their circumstances”, said Founder Kateryna Biloruska.
Together, the Kateryna Biloruska Foundation and Through My Eyes by Karolina Pelendritou Foundation will make a special charitable donation to support the cause.
