NICOSIA, CYPRUS — The Kateryna Biloruska Foundation (KBF) continues its commitment to fostering inclusive environments by participating in a specialized seminar focused on neurodiversity: “Creating an Inclusive Workplace for People with ADHD.”
The event, organized by the Ministry of Labour and Social Insurance of Cyprus in collaboration with the ADD-ADHD Cyprus Association, brought together experts and social impact leaders to discuss practical strategies for supporting neurodivergent talent in professional settings.
Small Changes, Significant Impact
The seminar highlighted that building an inclusive workplace is often not about complex structural overhauls, but rather about genuine attention to individual needs. Key strategies discussed included:
Clear Communication: Setting transparent goals and expectations.
Process Transparency: Streamlining workflows to reduce cognitive load.
Flexibility: Adapting environments to suit different working styles.
Ongoing Mentorship: Providing consistent support systems for long-term success.
Inclusion as a Catalyst for Innovation
By adopting these inclusive practices, organizations do more than just meet accessibility standards; they unlock unique strengths such as out-of-the-box thinking, high energy levels, and hyper-focused creativity often associated with ADHD.
“For the Kateryna Biloruska Foundation, inclusion is not a trend but a conscious choice,” the KBF team shared following the event. “These approaches build stronger, more resilient teams and a healthier, more equitable society.”
Looking Ahead
KBF remains dedicated to integrating these insights into its own initiatives and advocating for environments where every individual—today and in the future—has the opportunity to realize their full potential.
