Last week, the Kateryna Biloruska Foundation team joined over 30,000 educators, policymakers, and innovators at Bett UK 2026. Held at ExCeL London, the world’s leading EdTech show gathered changemakers from 120+ countries to explore the theme: “Education Without Limits.”
For our Foundation, this wasn’t just a conference; it was a deep dive into the ecosystem where technology, inclusion, and leadership intersect to shape the future of youth.
During the conference, Kateryna Biloruska presented FEM — Future Empowered Minds — as an example of a modern educational model that combines learning, leadership, technology, and social impact for teenage girls.

Three Days of Innovation: Key Highlights
The event was structured to move from global strategy to hands-on practice, concluding with a focus on the human dimension of learning.
- Day 1: AI & Global Strategy. The opening sessions featured global thinkers like Hannah Fry and Amol Rajan. The consensus was clear: AI is no longer just a tool; it is a partner that amplifies a teacher’s impact and personalizes the student experience.
- Day 2: Operational Transformation & Inclusion. We focused on the Operational Transformation Theatre and Tech User Labs. A major highlight was the session on “Bringing the curriculum to life,” which demonstrated how technology can ensure equitable access for learners with SEND (Special Educational Needs and Disabilities).
- Day 3: Wellbeing & Community. The final day centered on the “human” side of EdTech—mental health, psychological safety, and the role of Esports in developing soft skills like teamwork and strategic thinking.

Foundation Insights: What’s Next for Education?
Beyond the tech showcases, our team identified four critical shifts that align with our mission:
- From Institutions to Ecosystems: Success no longer happens in “closed systems.” The most effective models are those where schools, NGOs, business schools, and EdTech companies build collaborative learning environments.
- Skills Over Diplomas: The market is signaling a shift toward critical thinking, adaptability, and digital literacy. Education must prepare youth not for a single profession, but for a lifetime of change.
- Wellbeing as a Foundation: Education without mental health support is no longer sustainable. Psychological safety is a prerequisite for learning, especially for youth in crisis contexts.
- The Empowerment Gap: A major focus of Bett 2026 was Women in Tech & Leadership. Discussions shifted from “diversity for diversity’s sake” to structural access. The takeaway? We must address the gender confidence gap, not just the competence gap, by providing real resources and role models.

Looking Forward
For the Kateryna Biloruska Foundation, Bett UK 2026 confirmed that the future of impact lies at the intersection of Education, Technology, and Women Empowerment. We are returning with fresh perspectives and new global connections that will directly influence the development of our programs, including FEM 2.0. We believe that empowerment only works when it is backed by structural access to resources—and that is exactly what we will continue to build.
“The future of education is not just about the digital tools we use, but the inclusive spaces we create.”
