The Kateryna Biloruska Foundation (KBF) is proud to announce a new strategic partnership with the Shah Mat Masters Chess Academy to bring the intellectual and social benefits of chess to children and youth in Limassol.
Under the theme “Chess Without Barriers,” this joint initiative introduces free, professional chess classes specifically designed for children from vulnerable backgrounds (aged 5+) and individuals with disabilities. This project aligns with KBF’s core mission: ensuring that access to personal development and high-quality educational activities is available to everyone, regardless of their physical or financial circumstances.
The Grand Opening: Making the First Move
The program kicks off with an introductory session where participants and their families can meet the coaching team. During this event, instructors will assess the skill levels of new students to form balanced learning groups, ensuring a personalized and supportive environment for every player.
Date: April 18
Time: 14:00–18:00
Location: Lordou Vyronos 14, Limassol, Cyprus
Sustainable Learning and Growth
Following the launch event, the program will transition into a regular weekly schedule. Classes will take place every Saturday, with one dedicated session per group. By establishing a consistent routine, KBF and Shah Mat Masters aim to foster long-term cognitive skills, such as strategic thinking, patience, and problem-solving, among the participants.
